Our Approach
We take an integrative approach to individual therapy, meaning we draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods rather than a rigid one-size-fits-all model. Depending on what you bring to therapy, your therapist may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solutions Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Humanistic approaches, EMDR, or Transactional Analysis (TA).
What matters most to us is that the approach fits you — not the other way around.
We often get a question on the difference between a psychiatrist, psychologist or psychotherapist. Do read this blog that explains it well.
Your First Session
Not sure if therapy is right for you, or whether you will feel comfortable with our therapist? You are welcome to begin with an exploratory 30-minute online session. This is a low-pressure opportunity to ask questions, share what is on your mind, and decide whether you would like to continue. There is no obligation. Read our blog here on taking the first step.
A standard individual therapy session lasts 50–60 minutes. Most clients begin to notice positive shifts within a few sessions, though the overall length of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals.
In-Person and Online Therapy
We offer individual therapy sessions at our Singapore locations — our primary clinic at 316 Tanglin Road, Phoenix Park, and a second location in the CBD/Anson Road area. Both locations offer fully private, soothing therapy rooms.
We also work with clients globally via secure online sessions. If you are based in Singapore but prefer the convenience of remote therapy, or if you are located in Dubai, London, New York, Amsterdam, Zurich, Tokyo, Jakarta, or elsewhere in the world, we can support you online.
